Once a year we gather in an old converted mill, set client work aside for a few days and build the tools we need ourselves. This is their directory.

No company, no business plan
We’re a group of friends and IT freelancers — developers, designers and data people. Once a year we meet in an old converted mill and, over a small hackathon, build apps that make sense to us or that we simply need.
The projects are non-profit and their code is public. If any of it is useful to you too, all the better — that’s exactly why this directory exists.
Why Mlain
The name comes from “mlejn” — Czech slang for a mill. Look closer and you’ll find two more things hiding in it.

- The old converted mill where we meet every year. The place gave the project its name and its pace.

- We build most of the apps with the help of artificial intelligence — which is why it hid right in the middle of the name.
